Photoshop Rendering

We were assigned a wire frame to render. This is what I came up with, its a business lounge area inside a building outside a city. Yes,  that is a real snapshot from CNN. This is my first attempt at photorealism, I know I need to work on shadow and light source.

Ideation Drawings

For the first project we are asked to make three objects a Vessel+Container, Hooks+Racks, Time Piece+ Luminary. All for the contempary young adult. We were allowed to be in groups of three, so I have teamed up with Elizabeth and Teraesa. Out of all the final projects from our class 5 will be chosen to be put on Kickstarter. Kickstarter is a program where ideas are crowed source funded, its all or nothing but its a chance. Above are groups of images for each section, just ideas for each product these are just a few and there are more being made all the time.

Oh the Game of Chairs....

So I was out and about this summer and while at a friends lake house I found this game sitting on a shelf that my friends said "was so my kind of game." I laughed because it is my kind of game and as I opened the box to inspect the tiny chairs I found that some of them reminded me of real chairs. I began to think that its so odd that kids would be playing with miniature plastic versions of designer chairs. Talk about starting them young.  What kind of Chairs do these remind you of?

Summer crafts

When I was thinking about this summer I pulled out the long list of crafts that I have been wanting to do.
This is a  sheet music wreath. I rolled up pages of sheet music and them in place. Then I put them in a circle with a pastic cup in the middle to make sure it was a circle. Then I cut a circle of cardboard out to make the back piece.
I taped the rolls of paper together and placed the cardboard behind it and then hot glued it all together. then I cut a bunch of rolls about half way to make the second layer. Then I glued all those on the base layer. Then I made a second cardboard circle and covered it with a piece I cut out of a shiny gift bag. I glued those pieces together and then attached it to the top layer.
